Neysa's Unicorn Picture Page

Come. Enter the grove where the unicorn lives, where spring is eternal, and enchantment inevitable. If your heart is pure and your courage unfailing, perhaps you will catch sight of a ripple of white among the trees. Your life will never be the same!

Thanks to UnicornMistress for the following award!

For years, I have loved and collected unicorns. I have lots of them scattered about my house, so I decided they deserved their own spot among my pages.

The Unicorn is noble;
He keeps him safe and high
Upon a narrow path and steep
Climbing to the sky;
And there no man can take him;
He scorns the hunter's dart
And only a virgin's magic power
Shall tame his haughty heart.

from a medieval German folksong

The Queen of Fantasy

I am the mistress of the woods
The reigning lady of the sea
I am the watcher of the day
For safety they all come to me

Animals in need of care
Contentment or a bit of hope
They come to me with their concerns
I help them see that they will cope

My land is filled with enchantment
When uninvited men appear
A misty fog hides me and mine
Until they're gone and all is clear

I am the queen of fantasy
In my white fur and silver horn
No mortal knows the majesty
Of I, the Silver Unicorn
